Is there a penalty for dogs biting people?

Article 20, Paragraph 2 of Animal Protection Act stipulates Dangerous pets entering or exiting public sites or places where the public have access shall be accompanied by an adult using adequate protection measures. Where insufficient preventive measures have been taken for aggressive attacks, owners shall be fined NT$30,000 to NT$150,000, according to Subparagraph 4 of Paragraph 1 of Article 29 of the Act. For repeated assaults on people or property, authorities may confiscate the animal, according to Subparagraph 4 of Paragraph 1 of Article 32 of the Act.
