What is the cost to have pets registered in Taipei City?

As of Jun. 1, 2008, pet owners may take their pets to designated pet registration locations to implant a microchip for NT$ 250 and have their pets registered free of charge. This benefit applies to all pet owners in Taipei, regardless if their household is registered in Taipei City.
